With the At­lantic hur­ri­cane sea­son un­der­way, the UN World Food Pro­gramme (WFP) is sound­ing the alarm over Haiti’s hu­man­i­tar­i­an sit­u­a­tion.

The fall­out fol­low­ing the fi­as­co that turned out to be the One Caribbean Mu­sic Fes­ti­val has left many with­in the en­ter­tain­ment fra­ter­ni­ty en­gag­ing in some re­flec­tion.

On Sun­day, Guardian Sport re­vealed that while the T&T Crick­et Board (TTCB) and the Sports Com­pa­ny of T&T (SporTT) stat­ed that the TTCB re­ceived $13.6 mil­lion in fund­ing be­tween 2013 and ear­ly 2025, the TTCB was al­so re­spon­si­ble for re­quest­ing and over­see­ing an­oth­er $21.2 mil­lion for com­pe­ti­tion fund­ing.
